La Nucia is a comfortable for accomodation village with sixty-nine estates for local and foreign residents. Cascading small rises (tossalets) comprise the district, and are covered in green pine and fruit trees. The Aixortá and the Aitana protect La Nucia from the cold northern winds and ensure an average annual temperature of 15 degrees C. Trips can be made to an old washhouse, or through the white houses, revealing a peaceful village that still enjoys the old customs.
